iTEP Academic For Intrax

iTEP Academic comes in two forms. The most well-known version is iTEP Academic-Plus which tests grammar, listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

Additionally, we offer iTEP Academic-Core which tests grammar, listening, and reading. Institutions should use iTEP Academic-Plus for official admissions purposes. For internal assessments, on the other hand, either test is suitable.

iTEP Academic Plus is administered on home computers using the Respondus browser.

The Academic Core takes 60 minutes, while the Academic-Plus takes 90 minutes. This includes a 10-minute preparation period.

The primary function of iTEP is to assess the English language proficiency of students of English as a second language. The iTEP Academic exam is commonly used for:

• Admissions decisions
• Placement of students within language programs
• Curriculum development and guidance of course instruction
• Progress monitoring from program entry to exit
• Assessing the proficiency of English language teachers
• Determining eligibility for scholarships and academic grants

We will email your test results to you as soon as they are available (normally within 24 hours). You will also have a link to download your score report and to download a three-color certificate of completion.

Tests bought are good for one year. Once you take the test, the scores are valid for two years.
